  We bought throw pillows and after coming home with them we placed them on the couch and realized immediately they didn't go with the room. We put them straight back into the bag and went to return them a few days later. The cashier LOOKED at us and told us "you can't return because they smelled"!!! She did not even smell them to say such an excuse! surprise surprise the manager comes and agrees with her WITHOUT smelling anything. I brought the same kind of pillow off their shelf and asked them to smell a difference. no dice. ABSURD can't begin to describe. Granted it was the day after Christmas and they were probably getting ready to shoot down any return they could but we were shocked at their audacity.
